A música Acácia Amarela foi composta em 1981; o Irmão Luiz Gonzaga achou oportuno fazer uma homenagem a Maçonaria e elaborou a letra e o tema musical.
O Irmão Orlando Silveira deu algumas sugestões e harmonizou a melodia. Encerrado os trabalhos a música foi incluída no CD “O Eterno Cantador” do selo BMG-RCA, com arranjo de Orlando Silveira e vocal de Luiz Gonzaga.
